China is expected to build food quality credit files before the end of the year

The reporter learned from the semi-annual work summary meeting of the national quality inspection system held in Chengdu on the 23rd that China is expected to complete the construction of quality credit files for food production enterprises and food additive manufacturers before the end of this year.

According to reports, as of the end of May, the nationwide quality inspection system had found 3,312 illegal and infringing production enterprises in the process of severely cracking down on the illegal addition of food, and revoked production licenses for 3 food additive manufacturers of 24 foods and transferred them to public security agencies. From 175, it also established food safety credit files for 82,387 companies.

The reporter also learned that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) will promote the construction of a quality dishonest disciplinary mechanism, improve the quality credit information records and the “black list” system, and strive to complete the construction of quality credit files for food production enterprises and food additive manufacturers before the end of the year.

It is also understood that AQSIQ will strengthen dairy product quality and safety supervision measures, clarify the relevant technical requirements for dairy companies to establish electronic information recording systems, and implement the construction of electronic information record information systems for dairy products enterprises.
