Coincidence with autumn ducks for productive eggs

Autumn is the peak period of laying of female ducks, but due to the large temperature difference between autumn and the night, coupled with the physical fatigue of the duck population after summer, the duckling production rate is often unstable. Practice has proved that the following measures can be taken to stabilize and increase the egg production rate of laying ducks in autumn:
1. Supplemental nutrition. It is necessary to promptly increase the animal protein raw materials in the feed and double add more vitamins to supplement the nutrition. The nutritional level of the general fall duck diet is: crude protein 18%, methionine 0.3%, lysine 0.7%, crude fiber 8%, calcium 3%, phosphorus 0.6%.
2. Reasonably feed. The amount of autumn duck fine material should be determined depending on the laying rate of ducks. For example, if the duck group has an egg production rate of more than 50%, it can add more concentrate. Otherwise, some green feed should be fed, or the amount of bran used in concentrates should be increased, and the amount of carbohydrates used should be reduced.
3. Maintain a suitable environment. The physiology and living habits of ducks and ducks require that the environment in which they live should not only have pools that can play, but also dry places. The water depth of the pool should be more than 1.5 meters, the water quality should be sanitation, and some fine sand should be laid on the activity site. Ducks are highly metabolized in the fall and are sensitive to the environment, so don't change feed ingredients easily. If you really need to change, you should go from little to more, and gradually transition, must not change the feeding method or change the technical operating procedures. If the temperature is too high, it can lengthen the time the ducks rest under the tree or increase the number of bathing ducks.
4. Increase lighting. Insufficient illumination in autumn will reduce the egg laying rate of ducks. Farmers should set up two sets of lighting equipment in the duck house to supplement the light. One set of bulbs of about 15 watts is used for resting ducks and another set of 60 watt bulbs is used to feed ducks and stimulate ducks.
5. Forced moulting. Ducks naturally spend up to 150 days in moulting, and they can implement mandatory moulting in their production to shorten their period of abstinence. It should be noted that on the day when the forced moulting is implemented, the ducks should not be bathed in order to avoid infection.
