This year, Nanjing will train 600 nursing care workers free of charge.

This year, this training focused on 50 middle-level teachers and 50 junior teachers, 150 middle-aged care workers and 350 primary care workers. There are 7 primary caregivers training classes, 3 mid-caregiver training sessions, and 1 primary and middle class teacher training sessions. Each session is scheduled to have 50 participants attend training for 10 days.

It is understood that the primary caregiver is organized by the Municipal Social Welfare Association, and the middle and senior caregivers entrust the provincial and ministerial training bases to conduct practical training. The elderly nursing staff participating in the municipal training shall be exempted from any expenses, and shall be given corresponding transportation and lodging allowances. The per person per day allowance shall be 30 yuan for urban areas, 50 yuan for suburban areas, and 70 yuan for counties. The funds for the training of middle-aged caregivers are all borne by the provincial finance.

During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Nanjing City will rely on the colleges and universities to set up resource-related expertise and courses related to old-age care services, play the training function of an old-age nursing staff training base, and implement the “222” talent project, namely: training 2000 primary care , 200 mid-care workers and 20 senior care workers.

The reporter learned that, in the “Circular on Naming the Nursing Caregiver Training Base in Jiangsu Province” issued by the Provincial Civil Affairs Department, among the 23 training centers in the province, the Nanjing Jiangdingtai Social Welfare Institute and the Nanjing Xiehe Vocational Technical Training Center Listed on the list.
