It is a thornless shrub with a semi-upright growth habit, requiring proper cultivation to thrive. The plant typically has 1 to 3 main stems, with an average stem thickness ranging from 2.0 to 2.5 cm. Each plant usually develops 13 to 18 lateral branches, with an average branch length of approximately 2.5 meters and some reaching up to 5 meters in length. The phenological cycle of this variety begins in mid-March and lasts until late September. Flowering occurs from late April to early May, followed by fruit set between mid-May and early June. The fruits mature between late June and early August, with a maturation period lasting around 40 days. The ripe fruits are dark purple-black in color, nearly round, with an average length of 2.67 cm and a diameter of 2.42 cm. The fruit shape index ranges from 1.05 to 1.10, indicating a large fruit size. On average, each fruit weighs about 6.0 to 6.5 grams, classifying it as a large-fruit type. The flavor is sweet and sour, offering a refreshing taste. The fruits contain up to 8.5–9.0% soluble solids, making them highly desirable for both fresh consumption and processing. This variety demonstrates strong adaptability and vigorous growth. Under optimal growing conditions, the yield per plant can range from 6 to 8 kilograms. When cultivated on a larger scale, such as in an acre (mu), the yield can surpass 1200 kilograms, making it a high-yielding and economically valuable option for farmers in the region.
