Combine harvester operating instructions

Combine harvester operating instructions

The wheat combine harvester is a complex agricultural machine. The driver must understand the complete vehicle performance before starting the engine, and then check whether the clutch lever, shift lever, and grain release clutch lever are in neutral or disengaged position. After start-up, before the clutch is engaged, attention must be paid to observing whether there is anyone around the machine and a start signal should be issued. When parking, the header must fall to the ground. When the combine harvester enters the ground and begins operations, it should normally join the threshing clutch 10-15 meters away from the wheat, and gradually reach the operating speed, so that the thresher can be operated at full speed, and then the forward speed can be increased to enter normal operations. When harvesting, you should slowly open the header to reduce the forward speed and turn, but you should not reduce the throttle, so as not to cause jamming of the barrel. The operation of the wheat combine harvester should be based on the principle of maximum efficiency and should be operated with as much throttle as possible. In case of obstacles such as trenches or when crops fall down and need to reduce the speed of advancement, the forward speed can be reduced to the appropriate speed through the continuously variable shifting handle. If the demand is still not reached, the clutch can be used to stop the gear and stop until the wheat threshing in the drum is completed. Afterwards, the throttle is lowered and the low gear is decelerated. According to factors such as wheat yield, cut height, dryness and wetness, ground conditions, driver's skill level and other factors, reasonable forward speed is selected. The key factor is the amount of feed. The slope of the road or work area on which the combine is to be driven must not exceed 15; a parking brake should be used when parking on a slope, and the brake pedal must be blocked by a positioner. When the combine harvester is working, attention should be paid to observing the instrument and signal device. Non-workers must not climb the machine, and must not touch the working parts of the machine. When the self-propelled harvester is used for maintenance, troubleshooting, weeding, or repairs, it must be performed after the engine is completely stopped. To maintain, repair, or troubleshoot the tractor, the tractor must remove the drive belt from the engine to the drum and pull out the tractor's traction pins. After the grain tank is full, the speed of the combine harvester shall not exceed 8 kilometers per hour, and sudden braking is forbidden. It is forbidden to use iron shovels or other tools to help discharge food when unloading food. When the machine is running, the operator must not climb into the box to help report grain or adjust the unloading device.
