Jennifer Joe also said that the current popularity of new technologies in American medical schools is slow, and only about 50% of medical schools currently require students to use laptops or tablets. But she also pointed out that if Google glasses are widely adopted, it will largely change medical teaching.

Starting this month, UCI Medical School will equip third- and fourth-grade students with 10 pairs of Google glasses, mainly for students in the operating room and emergency room. In August of this year, the college will provide 20 to 30 students for the first and second grade students, mainly to the anatomical laboratory, medical simulation center and clinical skills center.

This collaboration with UCI Medical School is Google Glass App Developer Pristine, which Google has not yet participated in.
