How to ensure safe wintering of sheep

In the autumn season, grazing is crucial for sheep to build up strength before winter. The grazing period is limited, so it's important to extend it as much as possible during the day. Ensure that the sheep eat enough grass and adjust the grazing time accordingly, aiming to finish grazing before the first frost. After the frost, continue grazing in the late afternoon, as this helps them gain more nutrients. Each sheep should have access to sufficient grass to meet their nutritional needs. After the harvest, quickly move the flock to fields where crops have been collected. These areas are rich with leftover grains, weeds, and grasses, which serve as excellent feed. This practice is essential for "grasping the autumn" and ensuring the sheep get the best nutrition before winter sets in. Combining these feeding strategies helps the sheep regain energy and prepare for a healthier winter. During winter, sheep are herbivores and require plenty of grass. It’s vital to store enough fodder to sustain them through the cold months. Collect a variety of grasses, leaves, rapeseed foliage, and crop stalks based on the number of sheep. These can be processed using methods like ammoniation, alkalization, heap storage, silage, or fermentation. Additionally, include concentrates such as corn, barley, bran, and by-products from agriculture to ensure a balanced diet. A varied and nutritious feed ensures the sheep remain healthy and strong throughout the winter. Keeping the sheep in warm enclosures is essential for their survival. As the saying goes, “A warm shelter is worth three points.” Before winter, repair the sheepfold to make it windproof and insulated. Cover windows and doors with plastic film and hang straw curtains at night. Keep the ground dry and free from ice to prevent dampness and cold. Poor ventilation can increase energy expenditure, making it harder for sheep to maintain body heat. By maintaining a warm environment, you significantly reduce heat loss and protect the sheep from illness and cold-related diseases. For pregnant ewes, it's important not to keep them inactive all winter. Even though it's cold, they need moderate exercise to support the health of both the mother and the developing lamb. During winter grazing, choose sunny and sheltered areas, avoiding strong winds. Go out early in the morning and return home later, taking advantage of the warmer parts of the day. At night, supplement their feed with hay, concentrates, root vegetables, and minerals to meet the increased nutritional demands of pregnancy. Salt plays an important role in enhancing appetite and digestion. Provide salted water to the sheep, as it encourages better eating habits and prevents bloating. Without enough water, sheep may become dehydrated, leading to digestive issues and reduced feed intake. Avoid giving them icy or frozen water, as this can cause sudden drops in body temperature and lead to colds, especially in pregnant sheep. If possible, use warm or room-temperature water (around 10°C) to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort. Finally, ensure the safety of the flock, especially during the late stages of pregnancy. Prevent accidents by avoiding steep slopes and keeping the grazing area free from hazards. Do not disturb the sheep unnecessarily, as stress can lead to miscarriage. Keep the grazing area close to the shelter to avoid overexertion or unexpected labor. In severe weather, ensure the sheep are safely housed to protect both the mothers and their unborn lambs.

Sterilization Container

The purpose of the sterilization box is to store the equipment in the process of packaging, sterilization, transfer, storage and so on. These orthopeadic instruments working mode is suitable for high pressure steam sterilization, not suitable for dry heat sterilization, ethylene oxide sterilization, ultraviolet sterilization, microwave sterilization and formaldehyde sterilization. The sterilization instrument box is divided into two parts, the cover and the body. The central area of the box cover is the filter system of the disinfection box, which is composed of quick filter system clasps and filter paper. The clasps need to be fixed by double keys, and the fixed sound can be heard during operation, which can effectively avoid the accidental loss of filter paper. Filter paper can be reused for 1 000 times, has chemical resistance, its chemical properties will not change with time, and its hardness exceeds steel. There is also a safety fit for the filtration system around the box cover, namely a silicone washer and a tension retaining ring. On both sides of the box there are handles, locks and sockets for indicating signs.
