Second, the production of gas cylinder
1. The equipment for producing hydrogen gas is called the gas cylinder. It is a cylindrical iron cylinder. It is a cylindrical iron cylinder with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 40 cm. The maximum charging capacity of the above gas cylinders was 250 g of aluminum scrap, 540 g of soda ash, 418 g of lime powder, and 5 liters of water. 340 liters of hydrogen can be produced under normal temperature and pressure. When the hydrogen pressure in the cylinder reaches the gauge pressure of 0.4 kg/cm2, it can be used to fill the balloon.
Third, the gas operation 1. Unplug the rubber plug of the gas cylinder, add aluminum flakes, soda ash and lime powder in proportion, add water and plug the rubber plug. After the raw materials react, hydrogen gas is generated, and hydrogen pushes the air in the upper part of the cylinder. 2. After estimating the air exhaust, plug the rubber plug to close the hydrogen outlet switch. When the pointer on the pressure gauge reaches 0.4 kg/cm2, it can be used. 3. When the temperature of the gas cylinder is high, the cylinder can be cooled in an iron drum filled with cold water to reduce the reaction rate and prevent the water from boiling and vaporization, affecting the hydrogen purity. It should be noted that hot water must be used when used for the first time or when it is used cold (it will naturally release heat after the reaction, and only need to add cold water after the second time of continuous use).
