According to reports, the Asian Games drug inspection includes stimulant ingredient testing, commonly used drugs to complete each batch of inspection, medical equipment sampling by batch. There are 175 kinds of medicines and 595 kinds of medical consumables in the Asian Games dedicated medicine list, which is determined by the Asian Games Organizing Committee according to athletes' conditions in all Asian Games of the previous Asian Games. Including anti-infective drugs, cardiovascular system drugs, gastrointestinal drugs and other 19 categories, basically covering the treatment of various human diseases commonly used drugs. According to Lin Yongsheng, deputy director of the Guangzhou Food and Drug Administration, the drug administration department conducted inspections in accordance with the Substances Committee's list of doping controls to ensure that sub-doping drugs do not contain any stimulant components, and drugs involving 34 stimulants must also be labeled as athletes. The relevant person in charge of the Guangzhou Food and Drug Administration told the reporter that in order to ensure the safety of Asian Games-specific drugs, Guangzhou has established “three lines of defense”. First of all, we will select pharmaceutical distribution companies with sound quality assurance systems, complete varieties, and emergency emergency evacuation of major disaster epidemics to be responsible for supply and distribution. Second, all medicines and all batches must undergo rigorous testing before entering the Asian Games Drug Library. Third, regulators will closely monitor the links of storage and distribution.
