Magnetic pump operating procedures

Magnetic pump operating procedures

First, preparation before starting
1. Clean up debris around the equipment that affects the safety of equipment and operators.
2. Check if the process water in the sealed water tank is at the normal working level. If it is insufficient, it should be added.
3. In order to prevent debris from entering the pump, a filter is installed at the inlet of the pump, and the filtration area is 3 to 4 times larger than the cross-sectional area of the pipeline. Keep the filter clean, the various processes are ready, and the test conditions are available.
4. Check that the equipment parts are intact, and the anchor bolts are tight.
5. The attached meter should be sensitive, accurate and reliable.
6. If there is a magnetic pump with a rolling bearing housing, the lubrication system should be lubricated according to the specifications in the equipment technical data.
7. Check all valves on the sealed water pipe to be properly switched
8. When the vehicle is driven for a long time or after the pump is repaired, remove the fan cover of the motor and manually drive the vehicle to check whether the rotation of the magnetic pump is flexible. Install the fan cover after confirming that there is no problem.
9. Close the discharge valve, open the suction valve and open the exhaust valve to fully vent.
10. The pump with high lift should be equipped with a check valve on the outlet line to prevent the water hammer from suddenly stopping.
11. Inform the electrician to send power to the on-site operating panel.
12. Jog the motor and check if the pump is turning correctly.
Second, the pump starts:
1. The magnetic pump's empty load operation will cause the bearing magnetic body to lose magnetism, so this type of pump is strictly prohibited to run at no load.
2. Before opening the pump, the suction valve should be fully opened. The pump is filled with liquid. The outlet valve of the outlet line is extended by about 1/4. After the pump is started, the valve should be fully opened when the speed reaches the rated speed.
3. Check the current value and exceed the set value.
4. After the pump is started, check the sound and vibration of the pump. The outlet valve should be opened slowly. After the pump reaches normal operation, adjust the outlet valve to the required opening.
5. Check the flow rate and lift head, which should not be lower than 90% of the nameplate value; the working temperature of the root of the sealing cover is within the allowable range of the magnetic rotor material.
Third, the pump operation notes
1. Prevent particles from entering 1) Do not allow ferromagnetic impurities, particles enter the magnetic actuator and the bearing friction pair.
(2) After transporting the medium which is easy to crystallize or precipitate, it should be flushed in time (after pumping, pump the water into the pump chamber, drain it after 1 minute) to ensure the service life of the sliding bearing.
(3) When transporting media containing solid particles, it should be filtered at the inlet of the pump flow tube. Pay attention to the pressure difference between the front and rear suction filters. When the pressure difference increases, it means that there is foreign matter on the filter. Stop the pump to clean the strainer. 2. Prevent demagnetization
(1) The magnetic moment cannot be designed too small.
(2) It should be operated under the specified temperature conditions, and the medium temperature is strictly prohibited. A platinum resistance temperature sensor can be installed on the outer surface of the magnetic pump isolation sleeve to detect the temperature rise of the annulus region, so that the alarm or shutdown occurs when the temperature exceeds the limit.
3. Prevent dry friction (1) It is strictly forbidden to idle. (2) The medium is strictly forbidden. (3) When the outlet valve is closed, the continuous running time of the pump shall not exceed 2 minutes to prevent the magnetic actuator from overheating and failing.
4. Whether the discharge amount and discharge pressure meet the specified value;
5. There are no abnormal sounds and vibrations. If abnormal sound or vibration occurs, the general situation indicates cavitation or excessive bearing wear.
6. Whether the pump has cavitation: Open the outlet valve of the pump. When the flow reaches a certain amount, the sound and vibration will suddenly sound. At this time, continue to open the large valve. If the flow rate does not increase, it indicates cavitation. Exhaust operation is required when there is cavitation. Note: The magnetic pump must not operate in the cavitation state. If it continues to operate in this state, it will cause early bearing wear.
7. Whether the current value of the motor exceeds the rated current.
8. Whether the temperature of each part of the pump is abnormally overheated.
9. The pressure of the nitrogen regulator system should be kept within the specified range.
Fourth, the pump parking
1. Normally shut down the outlet valve, then immediately stop the motor and then close the inlet valve. It is forbidden to stop when the outlet valve is not closed, so as to prevent the outlet pipe liquid from flowing back to reverse the impeller and damage the parts.
2. Emergency stop immediately stop the motor, then close the outlet valve and inlet valve.
