Combine harvester converted steering axle can improve performance

China's annual wheat harvest season. Rainwater in some areas is often too high, resulting in slippery and muddy floors on the combine harvester's work area, seriously affecting the machine's passing performance. In 2005, Heilongjiang Provincial Agricultural Machinery Red Xinglong Machinery Manufacturing Co. developed a "steering axle." After the combine harvester was installed, it significantly improved the passing performance on slippery ground and was welcomed by farmers.

1. Main components

Mainly by the transfer case, drive shaft, rear axle assembly and drive wheels and other components.

2. Performance characteristics

(1) Reasonable structure, easy operation, flexible steering and balanced transmission. The clutch handle can be directly manipulated in the cab. Engage or disengage the power transmission of the transaxle.

(2) The rear axle housing adopts cast steel structure. It not only increases the strength and stiffness of the rear axle, but also ensures the smoothness of other transmission parts.

(3) Configure the 9.50-20 “herring” to increase the adhesion coefficient of the rear wheels.

(4) The transfer case and rear axle shall all adopt sealed structure to reduce the possible damage to the rear axle caused by the harsh working environment.

(5) The front drive shaft is placed on the side of the locomotive, increasing the height from the ground.

3. Basic technical parameters

Maximum load kg 2 750

Maximum torque Nm 2000

Corner 25~300

Steering wheel center distance mm 1 880

Minimum distance to ground mm 270

4. Usage

Through the use of farmers. The device has superior performance and reliable quality, and effectively improves the working efficiency on the wet ground, avoiding the situation that the harvester used to produce rolling and omission of crops due to poor performance. The device can be installed on medium and small combine harvesters such as John Deere's 3060, 3070, 3080.

5. Precautions in use

(1) The principle of "not slipping and not engaging the steering axle" should be observed. Do not engage the steering axle on hard ground.

(2) When using steering axle drive, the turning radius of the locomotive should be greater than the original turning radius. Otherwise, the components in the steering axle housing can easily be damaged.

(3) Steering axle housing can only be loaded with gear oil (GL-5), which is generally 85W/90.
