So, I wanted to talk a bit about the super cute little performance put on by my daughter’s daycare—or, as she calls it, her "school." Honestly, it feels like a real school to me too. She’s always coming home with new songs, stories, and little life lessons. It’s amazing how much she learns there!

Oh, and guess what? The recital was entirely in Spanish! I think I mentioned it before, but I’ll say it again because it blew me away. Learning another language at such a young age—it’s incredible.

It was just such a delightful experience overall. Watching those tiny humans take the stage, full of energy and confidence, was truly heartwarming.

For instance, take my daughter. In the first number, they used maracas. And let me tell you, she was ALL IN. Her arms were moving like she was conducting an orchestra, shaking those maracas like her life depended on it. And her singing voice—loud enough for her baby brother sitting front row to hear her over everyone else. She’s got spirit, that’s for sure.

She’s also incredibly expressive. In this shot, I’m not entirely sure what she’s trying to convey, but it looks like she’s having the time of her life. Maybe she’s pretending to be a magical tree or something—I dunno, but it’s hilarious.

In this next picture, she’s giving some serious side-eye. Again, I’m not exactly sure what’s going on here, but I love her facial expressions. They’re so dramatic, and it makes me laugh every single time.

One of the highlights of the show was when the kids sang a Spanish version of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.” It was so cute to see them all bobbing their heads and stomping their feet while trying to keep up with the lyrics. They had so much fun!

It was honestly one of the sweetest moments ever. You could tell they were all enjoying themselves, even if some of them were a little shy at first.

I could literally sit and watch those kids shuffle around, fidget, and belt out the songs all day long. There’s just something about their innocence and enthusiasm that’s absolutely mesmerizing.

But my absolute favorite moment came right after they finished their performance. As they walked off the stage, there was this unmistakable sense of pride on their faces. You could tell they felt like superheroes who had just saved the world. That look of accomplishment—that’s priceless.

Then there’s this particular image where she’s posing like a model. Her confidence shines through in every shot, and it cracks me up every time I look at it. She’s definitely inherited her dad’s flair for theatrics.

And then there’s this final picture. I mean, what is she doing here? Is she auditioning for the next Broadway play? Who knows, but I love it.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed hearing about this adorable event. Life with little ones is never boring, that’s for sure. Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever seen anything as cute as this recital!
