Mushroom Green Mold Pollution Control Measures>
In the production process, it is essential to avoid applying excessive formaldehyde in the inoculation box or room, as excess formaldehyde may react and convert into formic acid, creating an acidic environment that could harm the culture. To prevent contamination, lime powder should be applied around the cultivation area. If green mold is detected, immediate action must be taken to clean and disinfect the affected zones.
After sowing, regularly inspect the bacterial seed blocks. If any signs of green mold contamination are found, remove the affected blocks immediately and replace them with new, uncontaminated seed blocks. This helps maintain a healthy growing environment and prevents the spread of mold.
It is advisable to choose a low-temperature and dry season for cultivation, as this reduces the likelihood of mold development. During the hyphal healing stage, cover the area with plastic film to maintain humidity, but ensure proper ventilation and temperature control. Avoid removing the plastic too early, as this could disrupt the healing process of the bacteria.
Once the mold begins to appear, treat the affected areas with 40% polysulfide emulsion or 50% carbendazim wettable powder diluted to 800 times. These treatments help control the mold and protect the crop from further damage. Regular monitoring and timely intervention are key to successful cultivation and minimizing losses due to contamination.
