Prevent nail **

As we grow older, our skin and nails become more dry and fragile. Many people, especially women, participate in activities or products used to speed up the nail drying process. When the nails are dry, they are also susceptible to cracking and splitting, a process that can be ugly and painful. Prevention is the best medicine.

You need: rubber gloves, acetone without nail polish, nail polish with reinforcing fibers, nail clippers, nail file, lanolin, vitamin E oil.

1 Rubber Gloves Protect your rubber gloves by removing your nails anytime you wash your dishes and clean the house. Long-term and repeated exposure to water and detergents removes the large amount of water needed for nails.

2 Remove acetone-free nail polish with acetone. Acetone is a serious chemical that will dry out your nails. When applying nail polish, use a fiber that has nails to strengthen it so that the strength of your nails will increase.

3 files to prevent cheating nails or jaggies into your shorter edge of the nail turn. Shorter nails are less likely to split or break then long nails. File your rounded nails to help prevent the jagged edges of dry nails from splitting.

4 Massage lanolin or vitamin E oil to your cuticles and nails before going to bed every night before you go. By using oil at night or lanolin, your nails can absorb moisture for hours without it being washed off immediately.
