First, the season of stocking

Reasonable stocking densities should be determined based on pond conditions, water quality conditions, types and specifications of fish, feed and fertilizer supply, feeding and management levels, and the practice results of the stocking (polyculture) model over the years in the pool. Within a certain range, as long as the feed is adequate, the water quality of the water source is good and the management is proper. The larger the stocking density, the higher the yield. However, the limiting factor in raising the density of fish farming is the water quality; if the fish is overstocked, the pool water will often be in a state of low dissolved oxygen, and the growth of fish will be limited; furthermore, the organic substances such as baits, feces and animal carcasses in the water will be deprived of oxygen. In production practice, even healthy and unblemished fingerlings will inevitably carry some pathogens, such as direct stocking without disinfection, and once the conditions are right, these pathogens will multiply and cause diseases.

The drugs that can be used to prepare fish disinfectants in production include bleaching powder, ketone sulfate, potassium permanganate, salt, trichlorfon, and Weikang. Weikang is the only disinfectant that has received the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) environmental protection label, and it has immunity to taura virus, shrimp white spot virus, pathogenic vibrio, Aeromonas hydrophila, mycoplasma, fungi, coccidial oocysts, etc. It is a safe, broad-spectrum and high-efficiency new disinfectant.
