Vitamin feed product classification

Vitamin feed product classification

Because most vitamins are unstable, easily oxidized or easily destroyed by other substances, and require the feed production process, almost all vitamin preparations are specially processed or coated. For example, a stable compound is prepared or coated with a stable substance or the like. In order to meet the requirements of different applications, there are powders, oils, water-soluble preparations and the like on the dosage form. In addition, commercial vitamin feed additives are available in a variety of different specifications and can be grouped into three categories:
(1) Pure preparation. The single high-concentration vitamin preparations with better stability are mostly pure preparations containing more than 95% of their compounds. For example, the pure preparation compound of vitamin B1 vitamin B2, vitamin B6, folic acid, nicotinic acid, calcium pantothenate, vitamin K3 and the like has a purity of 95% to 99%.
(2) Coated preparations. Also known as stable formulations. Fat-soluble vitamins and vitamin C are extremely unstable. In addition to antioxidants, the feed preparations are often coated with stabilizing substances to increase their stability. Due to different coating materials or processing methods, their products are soluble in water and insoluble in water. The pure compound content of these products varies widely.
(3) Diluted preparations. Various concentrations of vitamin premixed feed made with a carrier or diluent such as defatted rice bran are used. Almost all antioxidants are added to such preparations.
