What are the forms of the cross section of the rotary kiln?

(1) Rectangular section. The cross section of the raceway is a solid rectangle, which is simple to manufacture and has low temperature stress. However, the material used is unreasonable, the rigidity is small (referring to the same weight of the rolling ring), and the heat dissipation condition is poor. It is widely used at present, and large-scale firing kiln and cement kiln use this rectangular section to roll.

(2) Box section. The manufacturing is complicated, the material utilization is reasonable, and the rigidity is large, which is beneficial to strengthening the rigidity of the cylinder body and the heat dissipation condition during operation is good. However, due to the complicated cross-sectional shape, defects such as cracks, blisters, and pores are easily generated during the cold shrinking process during casting, and these defects sometimes cause cross-section fracture.

(3) Split type rolling ring. Due to the large size and heavy weight of the rolling trap, the use of split rolling is one of the methods to overcome the difficulty of casting and transportation. Splitting the rolling group is to divide the ring into several pieces and join them together by 螟拴. The split form has four splits and two splits. The rolling sub-separation structure increases the machining workload a lot, and it also greatly weakens the simplified reinforcement.
