An Effective Way to Increase Fertilizer Utilization Efficiency

An Effective Way to Increase Fertilizer Utilization Efficiency

Fertilizer input and utilization is one of the important signs of agricultural modernization. At present, China's fertilizer utilization rate is only 35%, while Heilongjiang Province is only 30%, and twice as low as developed countries. The current level of fertilization is 5 million standard tons. If the utilization rate of chemical fertilizers is increased by 10%, it is equivalent to an increase of 500,000 tons of fertilizer, which is equivalent to the output of a medium-sized fertilizer plant. The economic and social benefits are very significant. So how can we increase fertilizer utilization?

(A) vigorously promote formula fertilization technology. According to the crop's fertilizer requirement law, soil test results, and fertilizer utilization rate, the reasonable amount and proportion of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements are adjusted so that the crop can be fully and reasonably supplied with nutrients and the potential for crop yield increase can be maximized. Improve economic efficiency.

(B) to improve overall fertilization methods. According to the law of fertilizer demand of crops, fertilization is reasonably applied in stages at all stages of crop growth to meet the nutrient supply during the whole growth period of crops and achieve the purpose of economic fertilization; in addition, autumn fertilization and deep fertilization should be strongly promoted, and wheat can be reached through autumn fertilization. Deeply applied, corn and potatoes reach deep through shaving and top dressing, and soybeans use precision jukeboxes to reach deeper applications. Through autumn fertilization and deep fertilization, the loss of fertilizer is minimized, thereby increasing the utilization rate of chemical fertilizers.

(C) fertilizer, organic fertilizer application. In addition to nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and various trace elements, organic fertilizers also contain a large number of beneficial microorganisms and organic colloids, which have important functions such as soil improvement and fertilizer conservation, and can make up for the single nutrient caused by single application of chemical fertilizers and are easily affected. Due to the disadvantages of fixed soil and easy leaching, the loss of chemical fertilizers is small, and it is beneficial to increase the utilization rate of chemical fertilizers.

(D) Other ways to increase fertilizer utilization.

1 see soil fertilization. Such as: sand soil. Due to the serious leakage of water, the fertilization method of “eat less meals” should be adopted.

2 Do not mix ammonium nitrogen fertilizer with alkaline fertilizer. Alkaline fertilizers such as grass ash, lime, and kiln ash can not be mixed with ammonium nitrogen fertilizers such as ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride, liquid ammonia, etc. Otherwise, mixing will cause loss of nitrogen volatilization and reduce fertilizer efficiency.

3 After urea is applied, it is not suitable to water immediately, nor is it easy to apply before heavy rain, otherwise, urea can easily be lost with water.

4 Avoid using fertilizers such as urea, ammonium chloride, and potassium nitrate to poison and corrode seeds, so as not to affect seed germination and cause seedling deficiency.
