As a large-scale fungus, Hericium erinaceus is known as "mountain" and it contains 16 kinds of amino acids, various vitamins and minerals, and it is appropriate to have a growth cycle generally produced from September to November.

Reasonable selection of scientific formula

The cultivation of Hericium erinaceus is extremely extensive, such as cottonseed hulls, sawdust, corn cobs, bean stalks, weeds, distiller's grains, etc., and appropriate amounts of supplementary materials such as bran, corn flour, etc., can be grown in appropriate proportions. . If you add a small amount of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and other minerals in these cultures, it will grow better. All localities can choose the economic formula according to the advantages of local materials:

(1) Wood chips 78%, rice bran or wheat bran 20%, sugar and gypsum 1% each.

(2) 90% cottonseed husk, 1% of gypsum and white sugar.

(3) 80% corn cob or soybean meal, 18% wheat bran and 1% sugar. Choose one of the above formulas and mix thoroughly to achieve a moisture content of 60%. The PH value is 4-6. Choose a suitable cultivation season

According to the biological characteristics of Hericium erinaceus, its mycelium growth temperature is about 25°C, and the time for culturing bacteria is 30-40 days. The suitable growth temperature of the fruit body is 16-20°C. Once cultivated, it can take 3 茬, which takes about 2 months.

Mushroom management

When the mycelium grows to more than half, fruiting bodies will appear one after another. At this time, mushroom management should be carried out in time. During the fruiting period, it is necessary to focus on creating conditions suitable for the growth and development of fruiting bodies and to coordinate the relationship between temperature, humidity, light, and gas.

Opening: The fruiting body must be cultivated when it is cultivated. To plant a Hericium erinaceus bottle, remove the tampon or remove the kraft paper and open a 2 cm diameter circular hole in the center of the sealed plastic film. Bag Hericium erinaceus, remove the tampon in the collar or peel off the tape on the inoculation hole, cover it with a plastic film, and tilt the film once every 2-3 days to promote mushroom bud formation. Temperature control and humidity adjustment: The temperature of mushroom house should be kept between 12-20°C. The most suitable temperature is about 18°C. At high temperatures, it is necessary to take the necessary cooling measures, such as the top cover, ventilation, increase water spray, etc.; at low temperatures, we must strengthen the temperature and heat preservation measures.

Appropriate ventilation: The growth of Hericium erinaceus fruit body requires fresh air, good ventilation, large fruit body, tight quality, white color, rapid growth, high yield, moderate length of thorns, and good commercial property. Otherwise, the output will be low and even deformity will occur. Therefore, we should pay attention to the ventilation of the mushroom house, open the vent regularly every day, high temperature, more ventilation in the morning and evening, about 30 minutes each time; low temperature, ventilation at noon, and often keep the air fresh mushroom room.

Light: Hericium erinaceus fruit bodies can form in dark conditions, but often appear abnormal mushrooms. Moreover, strong light is not conducive to the formation of fruit bodies. Generally light is 200-300 lux. General mushroom house can have some scattered light.

Harvesting

Hericium is harvested before the fruit body is fully mature. The standard is: the size of the fruit body is basically long, solid, and the spores have not been distributed yet. The spleen is 1-1.5 cm long and can be harvested. If harvested late, the meat is loose and the bitter taste is heavy, which is unfavorable for processing, and it also affects the formation of the next batch of mushrooms. When harvesting, hold down the culture material with one hand, and gently pull the fruit body off with another hand or cut with a knife.

After harvesting, clean the material surface in time and gently sip the bacteria to rejuvenate the mycelium. Under suitable conditions, two tidal mushrooms will appear one after another in 15-20 days. Generally can be harvested 2-3 times. It takes about 3 months from inoculation to harvesting. Freshness after harvesting should not exceed 12 hours, a small amount can be sold fresh, large amount can be dried, or can be dried at 60°C, and then sealed and stored in a double plastic bag.
