Current patient satisfaction status in the United States

Overall, medical patients in the United States are generally satisfied with the level of care of their primary care physicians. Of the Americans surveyed, 86% currently have health insurance; 76% believe their doctors are sharing their health records with each other to establish a holistic view of the patient's health.

Ordinary Americans with health insurance see an average of three times a year with their doctors, and an average of 2.5 doctors monitor certain parts of their health. Overall, Americans are most satisfied with booking appointments and managing their bills with their primary care physicians, and the most dissatisfied is learning preventive health knowledge from insurance providers.
