Correct use of hydraulic steering gear>
1. The hydraulic steering gear of the combine harvester should not be disassembled without necessity, as this may damage the mating surfaces and affect the overall performance of the system.
2. If disassembly is unavoidable, make sure to clean all parts thoroughly before handling to avoid scratching or damaging the contact surfaces. Use clean tools and work in a dust-free environment.
3. When removing the steering valve, first take out the steel ball from the manual steering valve. Then carefully remove the valve sleeve and valve plug. Be cautious to prevent the ball from falling into the oil inlet hole or the groove on the valve ring, which could cause damage to the valve sleeve. Reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
4. During reassembly, ensure that no dirt or foreign particles enter the valve. Apply clean, new hydraulic oil to all surfaces before installation. When fitting the valve sleeve and valve core together, align them carefully to avoid misalignment or impact that could damage the internal components.
5. When installing the coupling, ensure that the alignment marks between the coupling and the rotor are properly matched. Specifically, the mark on the external spline of the coupling should align with the corresponding mark inside the rotor. If there are no marks, align the centerline of the upper end's notch of the coupling with the tooth centerline of the rotor.
6. If during operation you feel the steering wheel is very hard to turn and hear a "click" sound, it may indicate that the safety valve is opening. Avoid forcing the steering wheel, as this can increase oil temperature and potentially damage internal components.
7. Never force the steering wheel when the engine is off or the pump is not operating. Always turn the wheel slowly and gently to prevent damage to the spring plate, pins, or linkages.
8. Choose the correct viscosity of hydraulic oil for your equipment and ensure the oil is clean and free from contaminants. Poor-quality or dirty oil can lead to excessive heat and accelerated wear of internal parts. Regularly check and replace the oil as needed to maintain optimal performance.
