For years, I'd only ever soaked oats for smoothies, but recently, I found myself pressed for time and in need of something quick, nutritious, and protein-packed before heading to the gym.

My usual mini-bagels and granola bars just weren't cutting it anymore. Enter overnight oats—my new lifesaver. This simple yet versatile dish has become my go-to breakfast solution. It’s not only quick to prepare but also incredibly customizable, making it perfect for busy mornings or even an impromptu snack fix.

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup Milk (Almond or Coconut milk works too)
  2. 1/2 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  3. 2 tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder
  4. 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  5. 2 tablespoons Honey
  6. 1 cup Old-fashioned oats
  7. 1/4 cup Chocolate Protein Powder
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Transfer the mixture into a sealable container like a mason jar or Tupperware. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least an hour to let the oats soften and absorb the liquid). Enjoy cold, or microwave for 30-60 seconds. I also add a few mini chocolate chips when having it as an afternoon snack.

Even though it's called overnight oats, it’s ready within just a few hours. A pro tip? I doubled the recipe and stored it in a large jar. Each morning, I simply scoop out a portion. This double batch has kept me going all week, including a couple of small afternoon servings when I needed a quick energy boost. I’m also excited to experiment with adding a banana or some peanut butter—it seems like there are endless possibilities!
