The most acute type of disease is most commonly seen in goslings aged 3 to 10 days after hatching. There are no early symptoms and the disease suddenly fell to the ground. Acute onset is more common in 5-15 days old goslings, the course of disease is 1 to 2 days, and the main manifestations are pull-white diarrhea, atrophy, hoarseness, no feeding or feeding, but no swallowing, and the food is thrown off. Walking slowly after hours, doze off, only drinking water, do not eat, serous secretions often flow out of the nostrils, eye socket depression, neck elbow, can not stand up, after the shock death. Subacute occurrence is more common in goslings over 15 days of age, mainly manifested as lack of energy, not eating or very little to eat, weight loss, diarrhea, a few strips of sausage-like, surface fibrous pseudomembrane hard feces.

The gosling plague virus can be transmitted vertically by female geese, so prevention is the key. The gooses should be injected with 1 ml of gosling plague every 25 to 30 days before laying and 15 to 20 days after they are laid, which has a good preventive effect. Strive to buy goose species in the affected area. Otherwise, only 1 ml of gosling plague vaccine should be injected for each local bird.
Incubation room and utensils before formalization with formalin fumigation, the method is: close the doors and windows, per cubic meter with 30 ml of formaldehyde plus 15 grams of potassium permanganate, disinfection 1 to 2 hours, egg disinfection 15 to 20 minutes. If the affected goose is infected with other bacterial diseases, each gosling should be intramuscularly mixed with 1000-2000 units of gentamycin, one for morning and evening, and two days for two to three days for gentamicin.
