Chris happened to have a buddy over last Sunday to catch the football game. This buddy has a kid about Aliyah’s age, who also goes to the same daycare as Aliyah. I think I heard something about baby powder.” I didn’t want to get up—it was my much-needed break after all.
A few seconds later, I heard voices in the living room. Chris and his buddy were clearly intrigued—or maybe slightly panicked.
“What are you two up to?”

“Ohhh… yeah! We put it in these bags!”
“Why would you do that?”
“Because we felt like it!”
Curiosity got the better of me, so I peeked in. Turns out, the girls had emptied two full bottles of baby powder into Aliyah’s doll storage cases. I couldn’t help but burst out laughing! Now her room smells like a spa, and honestly, it’s kind of amazing.
