Sows increase the survival rate of fat piglets

A trial conducted by the Institute of Animal Husbandry in Kansas in the United States showed that feeding sows with fatty fats can ensure the survival rate of piglets and promote weight gain. At the time of the experiment, 5% of the vegetable oil was added to the sow diet of the experimental group (feeding began in the first half of the month), resulting in a survival rate of 100% for the piglets produced, compared with only 90% for the control group. Two-2.5% vegetable oil was added to the two-week-old piglets produced. As a result, the daily gain of piglets increased by 8.2% compared with the control group.
