This can occur if piston rings are misaligned, allowing oil to enter the combustion chamber; if the air filter oil level is too high; or if the gap between the valve stem and guide is too large. To fix this, reposition the piston rings so their gaps are staggered at 120° or 180°, away from the piston pin hole and the direction of side pressure. If the air filter oil level exceeds the ring groove height, reduce it accordingly. For excessive valve stem-to-guide clearance, replace the affected parts and reassemble them to maintain a gap of 0.05–0.12 mm. Regular maintenance and timely troubleshooting are essential to keep diesel engines running efficiently.
